Nayak Nahi Khal Nayak Hai!!!

The incident of Ram Charan Tej's security guards roughing up two IT professionals is well known to all now. In a shocking exhibition of his arrogance and disregard for civility, Ram Charan has chased two hapless youth and had them beat up in the middle of a busy road. Ram Charan has alleged that the duo didn't give him way and played mischief to grab his attention, on the other hand media sources tell us that they were waiting for the green signal at the junction. With the issue gaining traction, thanks to the photographs taken by passers, the image of this self-proclaimed superstar took a beating. In trying to justify the unjustifiable, the starlet has started weaving stories that the youth were drunk and they apologized to him for their 'misbehaviour'. This is not just contrary to the media reports but quite unbelievable. Let us for a moment assume that his version of the story is true, does that give him power to order public beating of the two by his private security guards. Even the Police, who are mandated to protect law and order cannot act in such ruthless manner. The way in which the youth retracted their complaint and tried to play down the incident as 'petty', tells us that the son of Tourism Minister might have used his power and privilege and intimidated the two youth. Given the circumstances, we do understand the amount of stress these two fellow professionals must be undergoing. We would like to express our solidarity and support to Kalyan and Phaneesh. Notwithstanding the circumstances, what happened was clear show of his power and the law of the land has been abused. Far from being remorseful, the starlet has leveled allegations against the victims and went on to say that they didn't look like software engineers. This is adding salt to the injury. His statements "I did not get down from the car and had i come down, issue would have been different," reeks of arrogance and mindset of a feudal lord. Police have to lodge a complaint sou-muto and investigate the case and prosecute the culprits. It's time we, the citizens of India woke up and stand for rule of law. The media should not see this as a sensational issue but should stand by the victims and ensure that Ram Charan Tej and his accomplices are brought to justice. Forum Of IT Professionals reiterates it's commitment to civil rights and would stand firmly behind Kalyan and Phaneesh. We urge our fellow IT Professionals to join us in the fight for justice.
