Forum of IT Professionals (ForIT) is organizing a screening of the acclaimed film, 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh' on September 27th, 2014 at Malaysian Township.

This event is being organized to mark the birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh who had sacrificed his life for the cause of the nation at a young age of 23. He said, "....by crushing individuals, they cannot kill ideas." Let's make sure his ideas are not killed.

The life of Bhagat Singh continues to be a source of inspiration for the young and old alike. It talks of extreme sacrifice, unmatched intellect and uncompromised commitment to the cause. This, we believe, is something all of us should learn from his life.

Unlike our previous screenings, we have put an entry ticket for this event. The money so collected, would be contributed towards the flood relief work in Jammu & Kashmir. After all, Bhagat Singh said, "I am a man and all the affects mankind concerns me." What better way to pay a tribute to this selfless martyr?

We hope that this screening will be a first step in us taking forward his ideas and legacy. We urge all IT employees to attend this event and make it a huge success.
