Residents in colony for Physically challenged, Madhurwada are denied rice and other food items distributed through PDS ration depots as they do not have ration cards. The families here are daily wage labourers. After the devastation caused by Hudhud, they are not able to find work and hence in dire need of basic commodities. They are protesting against the authorities lack of empathy for their situation.
